Tribute to Norman Petty Studios - panel discussion

This was a real honor and pleasure to be asked

to be a part of this tribute to Norman and Vi Petty.

The day before my wife and I arrived in Ruidoso

I had received an e-mail from Roy Orbison's youngest

son, Wesley Orbison, who resides in Ft. Worth, TX.

I asked him to attend the event since his dad, along

with Buddy Holly, recorded many of their songs at the

Petty Studios in Clovis, NM. He was unable to be

there but wanted me to share some of his thoughts

with the audience. He plays bass in a band in Ft. Worth

and performs his dad's hit song "Pretty Woman" on

a regular basis. Thanks Wesley for your contribution

to the Norman Petty Tribute.
